ServiceNow EmployeeWorks adds no-code assistants and background agents
EmployeeWorks now lets employees build customized AI assistants and repeatable background automations without coding. The new features are in controlled availability, with built-in research and scheduling assistants also offered.
What changed
Productivity Assistants let employees tailor behavior, content, tools, and access within admin-defined guardrails. Research and Calendaring Assistants come out of the box, while HR-focused assistants are planned starting with HR Service Delivery. Productivity Routines let employees describe an automation, select tools, and deploy agents that repeat the same steps without human intervention.
