Sullivan & Cromwell expands Agreement Analyzer for multiple lawyers
Sullivan & Cromwell developed Agreement Analyzer from a single-user prototype into an agreement-review tool that multiple lawyers can use at once. It combines firm precedents, negotiating playbooks and ChatGPT Enterprise to produce a memorandum and proposed tracked changes.

What changed
Partner John Savva built the initial proof of concept with Codex. He then worked with OpenAI to improve output quality, add parallel processing and support multiple lawyers at the same time. Lawyers can supply a draft agreement, selected precedents, firm and client positions, and market-practice information for multiple review cycles.
Why it may matter for your work
The tool could help lawyers compare agreement provisions against relevant precedents without separating those inputs across different workflows. Its memorandum and proposed edits may give lawyers more time to focus on issues requiring professional judgment.
What it can actually do
Compare corresponding provisions across precedents, track their interactions, identify potential issues, and return a memorandum and proposed tracked changes for lawyer review.
Limits to check
Lawyers review, adapt or reject the outputs. Specialized agents reviewing specific risks in parallel are described as a potential use case. Pricing and availability outside the firm are not stated.
“He then collaborated with OpenAI on improving the quality of outputs, enhancing efficiency through parallel processing and transforming the application into a tool that could be used by multiple lawyers at the same time.”From the linked source page
