The short answer Both tools are free, one-off checks. They look at different things.
HubSpot's AI Search Grader asks ChatGPT (GPT-5.4 mini), Perplexity and Gemini how they describe your brand, based on their training data. You get a score out of 100 across five areas, with sentiment weighted most. You enter your company name, location, industry and product, then fill in a form for the full results. HubSpot AEO, its ongoing tracker, is $50/month.
AI Panic Room starts from your website address. It reads your public homepage (titles, headings, links, structured data and how clearly an AI could summarise you) and gives fixes and a PDF. After you email yourself the result, it asks ChatGPT one buyer question and shows whether it names you.
