Assessing tasks rather than job titles

Why the same title can mean very different work.

Updated 10/14/2026

Two people with the same job title can spend their weeks very differently. That's why AI vs My Job looks at tasks, not titles.

Start with your week List the tasks you actually do and roughly how much time each takes. A recruiter who spends most of the week on calls has a different picture from one who spends it writing job adverts.

Rate each task For every task, think about how routine it is, how much judgement it needs, and how costly a mistake would be. Tasks that are repetitive, text-heavy and easy to check are often where AI can help first.

Coverage matters We only publish an overall score when most of your time has been rated. Otherwise the number would rest on guesswork.

What the result is for The result points to tasks worth experimenting with and tasks that are likely to stay mostly human. It is not a prediction that your job will disappear.
